Hof Kroog am Wellsee

Der Name Hof Kroog als Teil des Klosters Preetz wird 1286 erstmals erwähnt. Es handelt sich um eine alte Elmschenhagener Flurbezeichnung, ursprünglich 'Tho dem Kroge' (Gut am Wellsee). Seit 1908 wird er im Kieler Adressbuch aufgeführt und war 1913 die Geburtsstätte der Siedlung Kroog.
